SEA EXCURSIONS
NOSY IRANJA
It is located near the north-west coast of the island, off the Ampasindava peninsula, about an hour and a half from Nosy Be (depending on the marine weather conditions of Madagascar). Once you get there it comments by itself … already from the boat you perceive the scenario that is waiting for you … two islands, a larger one, Iranja Be and a smaller one Iranja Kely, connected by a white sand tongue just over a mile and a half long, passable during the low tide, in the middle of a crystalline sea with colors ranging froml ight blue to turquoise and the blue of the sky. The beaches of Nosy Iranja have been chosen by green turtles to lay their eggs, it is not difficult on this island to be able to witness the hatching, an exciting event that will make your eyes shine with joy for a lifetime! Nosy Iranja is surrounded by magic … in addition to its paradisiacal beaches where you can relax under the palm trees or where you can swim in its warm and clear waters, it is the ideal place to take pictures … the dark color of the local people goes with that of the white sand, also along a village and a path immediately after you get to the lighthouse and the school, and from above the sight of the tongue of sand and Iranja kely will leave you breathless! If you want to experience the island from sunset to dawn … you can dive in a dream … to experience with us.
NOSY TANIKELY and NOSY KOMBA
In Malagasy “Tani” means earth and “Kely” means small, so “Little Earth”. Approximately 35 minutes, an island south of Nosy be, where we find the only marine park in the north of Madagascar. It is magnificent both for its submarine biodiversity and its emerged part. For the divers it is a small aquarium, a sea suitable even for the children, for those who want to do only snorkeling or those who simply want to relax taking a swim and then sunbathe or take a nap under a palm tree! For lunch, instead, we move to Nosy Komba. It is the highest island of all Madagascar. Passing inside the village of the fishermen it is possible to arrive to the natural park that hosts lemuri makaco, snakes boa, land turtles and chameleons, a real attraction for tourists! There are also local craft markets to bring home souvenirs made in Madagascar.
